Where do I return a faulty tag?

 

Wrap your faulty tag in aluminium foil and send to:

No postage stamps are required if posting within Australia.


Your tag must be returned within seven business days of notifying us of the faulty tag. A $47.78 Tag Non-return Fee is payable for each tag that is not returned within this period.

 

When will I receive my go via tag?

For city and metropolitan areas, allow up to 10 business days from the day you placed your order for the delivery of your new tag.

If you live in a rural or remote area, delivery could take up to 20 business days.

If you don’t receive your tag within this timeframe call us on 13 33 31.

How do I order additional tags or tag clips?

 

Ordering a tag
If your tag is lost or stolen, or if you think your tag may be faulty please contact our customer care team to order a replacement.

 

Ordering a tag for additional vehicles 

If you have not added the vehicle to your account yet:

  1. Login to your account 
  2. Go to Manage account details 
  3. Select the 'Add Vehicle' button next to Vehicle details
  4. When completing this form you will be asked if you need an additional tag. 

If you would like to add a tag to an existing vehicle on your account:

  1. Login to your account 
  2. Go to Manage account details 
  3. Select the 'Edit' button next to Vehicle details
  4. Select the Manage tag button next to the vehicle you would like to add the tag to
  5. Select Request New Tag

 

Ordering additional tag clips 

  1. Login to your account 
  2. Go to Manage account details 
  3. Select the 'Order Clip' button next to Tag clips
  4. Select the tag clip type you would like to order from the Order Tag Clip drop down menu.
  5. Enter the quantity you require.
  6. Click on 'Submit'. The selected items will now be added to you order.

What do I do if my tag is lost or stolen?

 

If your tag is lost or stolen contact our customer care team immediately to deactivate your tag.  You will be liable for any trips made on a lost or stolen tag until we are notified.
 

A $47.78 Tag Non-return Fee will apply to lost or stolen tags.  If you find your tag and it is deemed to be in good working order then the fee will be refunded.

 

What do the beeps mean?

 

Number of beeps  What it means  
1 Everything is OK

When you travel through a toll point, your tag automatically deducts the cost of the toll from your account. The single beep tells you that the payment has been made successfully.  

 1 then 2 Warning

Your account balance is low. 

You need to top up your account.  If your account is:

  • manually topped up - you need to top up your account immediately to avoid slipping into the red
  • set to automatically top-up - your account will be topped up automatically.
4 Problem

Your account has a negative balance and could be suspended. 

You need to top up immediately, because each time you travel through a toll point and hear 4 beeps:

  • a photo will be taken of your vehicle
  • you may receive an Toll Invoice requesting payment of the toll
  • a Video Matching Fee will be applied per toll point and an administration fee may also be charged.

How do I install my tag?

 

Your new tag has already been activated. To install it in your vehicle, please read the go via Tag Installation Guide.
 

Placement on metallic windscreens - In nearly all cases vehicles with metallic windscreens will feature a non-metallic area that allows a go via tag to function without interference.  Check your vehicle’s handbook for the best spot to place your tag.

 

My tag didn’t beep, what does this mean?

 

Your tag may not be installed correctly. Please read the go via Tag Installation Guide.

OR

There may be a problem with your tag. Please call 13 33 31 to report the problem.

 

I have a tag in my car. Why am I still getting invoices?

 

There are several reasons why you may have received a Toll Invoice:

Problem Solution
The vehicle you were driving at the time of travel may not be linked to your go via account. Find out how to add/change a vehicle on your account
Your account may have been suspended at the time of travel.

If your account does not have a positive balance your account may be suspended.
