A toll invoice is a payment request for using a toll road. The invoice is sent to the registered owner of the vehicle. Payment should be made by the required date to avoid a demand notice, which will include further costs.

You can make a quick credit card payment for travel on any Brisbane toll road. Simply refer to the top of your toll invoice or demand notice for the reference number.

Have an account but not with go via?

If you usually pay for your tolls with another operator, you can easily transfer a toll invoice or demand notice amount to your account. You can also transfer multiple invoices or notices. Just make sure they're all being transferred to one account. You will need your invoice or notice number and your account or tag serial number from your toll operator.

    A toll invoice is a payment request for travelling on a toll road. It's issued when a trip is made in a vehicle that isn't linked to a valid account or pass. The amount payable is the cost of the trip plus admin fees.

    If you already have a go via account, you may receive a toll invoice if:

    • you're driving a car that hasn't been added to your account
    • your account has been suspended

    Toll invoices are issued to the registered vehicle owner when a vehicle travels on a toll road without a valid account or pass. If you weren't driving the vehicle at the time of travel, you can nominate another driver.

    If you've received a toll invoice or demand notice for a vehicle you've sold, or you weren't driving the vehicle when the toll was incurred, you can nominate the correct driver or new owner to pay the toll invoice.

    If the other driver is responsible for all the trips listed on the invoice, you can complete the nomination online.

    If there are multiple trips listed and the other driver is not responsible for all of them, you'll need to contact our customer care team to complete the nomination process.

    Please note that if an invoice has already been nominated twice, you won't be able to nominate it to anyone else.

    You can use your account balance to pay a toll invoice or demand notice provided you have sufficient funds in your account. 

    If your account balance is lower than the value of your invoice, you'll need to top up your account before you complete the transfer.

    To transfer an invoice, log in to your account and select Pay a toll invoice or demand notice from the menu to the right. Follow the prompts to transfer to your account.

    You'll be provided with a receipt, which you can choose to print or have emailed to you.
