  • How many vehicles can I have on my account?

How many vehicles can I have on my account?

You can link as many vehicles as you like to your account.

When a car linked to your account travels without a correctly installed tag, you'll be charged a video matching fee per toll point.  You can reduce your fees by making sure every vehicle has a correctly installed tag.

A tag can be moved between vehicles so long as they're both in the same vehicle class. You can also order extra tags so that each of your vehicles has one.

How soon can I travel after opening an account?

For a Prepaid account, your tag will take 7-10 working days to arrive, but you can start travelling right away if you register your vehicle to your account.

Normally, a video matching fee is charged when you travel without your tag. For new customers, we'll credit any video matching fees for 14 days from the day you open your account. Credits may take up to 4 weeks to appear.

When your new tag arrives, make sure it's installed correctly to avoid incurring any future video matching fees.

With a pre-paid account, your tolls are calculated as you travel, either through a tag device attached to your windscreen or by matching your licence plate number to your account when you pass through a toll point. These tolls are then charged to your account.

You can travel with or without a tag, but for tagless travel you'll be charged a video matching fee every time you pass through a toll point.

A pre-paid account can be topped up manually or by auto payment from a credit card or bank account. If you're a frequent traveller, opening an pre-paid account may help minimise fees and charges.

commercial account includes advanced features designed to help fleet managers track toll charges. These features make it easy to get itemised financial data and analyse your expenses. With a commercial account you get monthly tax invoices and can pay your fees and charges in arrears.

Toll charges are the same for pre-paid and commercial accounts.

All our accounts let you set up auto payments. As long as your payment details are valid, and you've added all your vehicles to your account with their licence plate numbers, you're covered for travel on all Australian toll roads.

    How does tolling work?

Toll roads are roads that drivers must pay to use. In Australia, all toll roads are electronically tolled meaning there are no cash booths. How much you pay depends on the toll points you pass and the class of vehicle you're driving.

The most convenient way to pay for go via travel is to open an account.

If you're visiting Brisbane, or only need to use toll roads for a short time, you can buy a pass.

If you've already travelled on a toll road without an account or pass, you can still avoid extra fees. Just buy a pass within 3 days of your first trip or open an account within 7 days.

If you don't cover your travel within these time frames, a toll invoice will be posted to the vehicle's registered owner, which will include administration fees.
