Common questions

  • What should I do if my tag doesn't beep?

What should I do if my tag doesn't beep?

Your tag should beep every time it passes through a toll point. If it doesn't do this, it may have a flat battery or be faulty or incorrectly installed.

You can check whether your tag is correctly installed by referring to our installation guides.

If you think your tag has a flat battery or is faulty, you should order a replacement as soon as you can to avoid being charged a video matching fee when you travel.

To order a replacement tag, contact our customer care team.

  • I have an account but I received a toll invoice

I have an account but I received a toll invoice

You may have received a toll invoice if:

    • you were driving a car that hadn't been added to your account
    • your account was suspended at the time of travel

Your account may have been suspended if:

    • you didn't made a payment by the due date
    • an auto payment failed

You can check or update your payment details by logging in to your account.

If you have a pre-paid account, make sure your balance stays above the required $20 minimum. If your account balance is low, your tag will beep 3 times as it passes through a toll point. You can check your balance by logging in to your account.

If you have a commercial account, make sure you pay your monthly statement by the due date to avoid having your account suspended.

  • What should I do if I travelled on a toll road?

What should I do if I travelled on a toll road?

If you've travelled on a toll road and don't have an account, you can buy a pass to cover it if you do so within 3 days.

Alternatively you can open an account within 7 days of travel.

If you don't buy a pass or open an account within these time frames, a toll invoice will be sent to the vehicle's owner for each trip made. It can take up to 4 weeks after you travel for a toll invoice to be sent to the vehicle's owner.

  • I travelled without a tag

As long as your licence plate number is linked to your go via account, your trip will be charged to your account with the addition of a video matching fee. This fee may differ on interstate toll roads.

If your licence plate number isn't registered to your account, you may receive a toll invoice and be charged additional fees. To avoid this, make sure you add each of your vehicles to your account. You can do this by logging in online.

You can also buy a pass within 3 days of your trip.

  • How do I pay my toll invoice or demand notice?

How do I pay my toll invoice or demand notice?

It's important to pay your toll invoice by the due date to avoid additional fees. If you don't pay by the due date, you'll be issued with a demand notice, which will include additional admin fees.

You can pay your toll invoice in one of the following ways:

    • Make a quick online payment
    • Pay in person at participating 7-Eleven, United Petroleum, Puma or newsagent outlets. You can pay using a debit card, credit card or cash
    • Contact our customer care team and we'll help organise your payment for you

If someone else was driving when the relevant trips were made, you can nominate another driver to pay the toll invoice.
